Stoke House was formerly Stoke Hotel (1875) and the Victoria Hotel (1846) It has recently been fully renovated and expanded to provide a cafe facility as well as accommodation. The cafe commenced trading in May 2005 and has now built a strong reputation for its delicious soups, meals and cakes which are fully prepared on its premises. Trading is from 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Sunday as well as public holidays. Functions and evening meals are catered for by arrangement. Accommodation is also available in four magnificently appointed suites in the old hotel on a B&B basis. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Two guest lounge rooms, a guest dining room and a balcony with exceptional views of the village are also available. Self catering accommodation is also available in two fully self contained cottages.
