The Twentieth Century Toy Museum is located in the old CBC bank building at 5 Belubula Street Carcoar. It houses a collection of over 2000 toys in the five downstairs rooms that used to comprise the Banking Chamber and associated offices. The collection spans the era from the First World War right through to modern times - from Betty Boop, Dan Dare and Sad Sack to the Simpsons, Japanese Anime and Mr Blobby. The Museum Shop also sells a range of hand cut wooden jigsaws and toy related collectables. The Museum is open 11am to 5pm Wednesday to Sunday during the Spring and Autumn tourist seasons. The 2007 Spring Season runs from September 15 to December 10 and the 2008 Autumn Season will run from March 01 to June 11. For more information please ring 6367 3274.
